Strategic Planning and Redesign
In April of 2021, the El Dorado County Office of Education brought together a group of leaders to embark on an organization-wide strategic planning process. As a member of this group, we discussed our core values and the overall mission of the organization. Over the course of six months, we established five core values. My involvement in this process was much broader than establishing our values and mission. Equally as important as the planning process was the delivery and communication to the entire organization. I was heavily involved in the design work, video production, and content development that supported our county superintendent in his delivery of the work the team had done.

Strategic Planning
The COA Strategic Plan was a collaborative planning process for the future of the organization. A gathering of the Board of Trustees and staff managers, including myself, came together for a two-day meeting to prioritize goals for the organization and how to execute and communicate those goals.
I led the communications efforts to help participants utilize all possible means of communication to improve current practices and to explore new ones. As shown in the strategic plan overview, each goal has a unique communication or call to action that I will oversee going forward.
